Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thank you for your letter of the 22nd instant and I much appreciate your help at Leylands.

I also note your remarks with regard to the AC.9 bushes and am pleased to see this is being pushed forward.

I am trying to get Devereux's views on the question of cold-rolling AC.9 bearings before I finally put any into Bristol. I think I shall abide by your advice and send them in the as-cast condition.

I hope we shall have the pleasure of your company this year at the shoot. We shall have quite a nice lot of pheasants, although there are no partridges.
