For the attention of Mr. F.Ll.Smith.

Dear Sirs,

We would confirm telephone conversation of this afternoon when we advised that we are endeavouring to build one 11" Driven Plate with Oil Slinger fitted.

It is hoped that we shall have necessary slinger in our possession early to-morrow morning if supplier maintains promise and we will effect despatch per passenger train for your to collect.

We would kindly ask you to arrange for confirmatory order to be passed.

With regard to the omission of driven plate oil slinger from standard specification, we would refer you to the writer's letter of June 18th 1935 addressed for the attention of Mr. Grylls, confirming telephone conversation, when at this gentleman's request we omitted this item from our specification.

Yours faithfully,
