HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}5/BA.25.3.39.

1.B.V. Continental.
This car is now at the Coachbuilders and is due back by the middle of April, by which time it is comfirmed the correct parts, as called for in the specification, will be ready for fitment. The car to be completed and passed to test by the end of the second week in May. It was stated by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} that we shall now require 12 x 41 Rear Axle Gears. The scheme is being designed, shewing whereby all the existing parts can be adapted on same completeing the .650 off set Hypoid Axle. It was also stated that one of the all Helical Gear Boxes with overdrive gears will be required for this car.

3.B.30.
This car is due back from the coachbuilders by the week-end, details as called for in the specification are ready for fitment. It has now been decided to fit a .650 off set Hypoid axle with 10 x 41 ratio gears, modifications necessary for fitment of this axle are as called for in HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}6/BA.23.3.39.

4.B.30.
Specification for the completion of this new chassis is issued and it is requested that the position should be reviewed, bearing in mind that the frame is promised by the end of the month, and a completion date reached.

Ph.III.35.Ex.
Being used for with with the Hydraulic Gear Lever Movement and Assisted Clutch, Overdrive Gear Boxes etc., being fitted.

P.IV.
On test for further experience of Overdrive Gear Boxes 10 x 43 Axle Gears.

General purpose car. We understand this car will shortly be disposed of.
