Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. Bailey.

Dear Sirs,

"Jackalls".

We are returning to you to-day two rear Jacks removed from chassis 28-EX.

The nearside has suddenly commenced to leak, and from all appearances it is leaking past the gland and down the ran barrell, a pool of fluid being left on the ground when the Jack fails to maintain pressure.

We are sending the offside for inspection and any replacement you find necessary.

Will you please let us have a full report of the trouble when returning the Jacks, and at the same time send along another tin of "Jackall" fluid, an order for which you will receive within a day or so.

The Jacks you fitted to chassis GZU-24 have been removed and forwarded to us by our Sales Dept., as the car has been sold.

We intend having this system fitted to an Experimental 20/25 HP. chassis, 21-G-IV, and will communicate with you when it is convenient for your Fitter to carry out the installation.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
