X3803 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG26.9.25. To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} LEMOINE SPRINGS. K5240 You will see by DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M23.9.25. that R.{Sir Henry Royce} is anxious that we should test out Lemoine springs on the 20 HP. car. I spoke to Ps. from Paris about this when he was at the Works this week. The springs on the 20 HP., as you are aware, are a different length to the present standard 20 HP. springs. Will you therefore please send to Ps. at Paris, drawings of the present 20 HP. springs. We suggest that Lemoines should be given a free hand to make the best springs they know, in the same way as Firths and Woodheads have been treated. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
