C.W.Hancock Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Cry. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Cry.11/MA.6.2.33. 19-EX. Will you let us know whether there has been complaint of exhaust valves sticking on this car. The car is fitted with the latest heavy valves and short guides. What trouble if any did you have in England with the short guides. We have to standardise either these or the existing ones for the next series of 40/50HP. The existing standard are giving trouble on Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Car. PEREGRINE GEARBOX. The mark on the dip stick should be 5.5" from the shoulder (i.e. top of gearbox casting). We find that the amount of oil then is 2 pints. We do not remember your having a similar trouble on 2 Per.II. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Cry. | ||
