X4237 B C.S. D.O. H.S. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} H.E. BY1-P27.11.22. GOSHAWK 11. Referring to E7/M231122, whilst we are fitting the large diameter fan we have not included on standard the automatic spring adjustment for belt tightening, as this had not been tested out. The new design was, of course, produced as quickly as possible and issued, but in the absence of any definite experimental reports or standardisation sheet, we were not at liberty to bring this on to production.
