We also send you hwereith drawing No. Lec. 1317 shewing the side channels of revised "Goshawk" chassis altered to suit a wheelbase of 10'9", that is, 129". It is now intended that the distance from the back of the dash to the front edge of the rear wheel shall be 74" approximately. With these alterations and a slightly more upright position of the steering column it is possible for the revised "Goshawk" to carry a Landaulet body fitted with one, and perhaps two, occasional seats. It is desired to persuade customers to have only one occasional seat rather than two. Mr. Royce intends that no body shall be fitted to the revised "Goshawk" chassis which shall have a seat wider than 40" approximately in the rear compartment between the squabbing. This seat will carry two with comfort and three in an emergency. The driver's seat for an Interior drive, or high open body would have to be a little wider than Contd | ||
