To Wa.{Mr Wallis} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4086 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/T13.6.22. RE 7-GOSHAWK II. With reference to the Goshawk car which CJ. has been using, we are very anxious to know from the chauffeur whether he had any trouble with the wire wheels creaking and also whether he had to change a wheel on any occasion, or whether he tightened the wheels up. I had a short note from the driver from Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence in which he reported that the battery box front support had broken and that the road springs bumped on a bad road. If you will let us know where the car is likely to be, we can send you out fresh battery box supports. We should also like to know whether it is the front and rear springs which bumped or only the front springs. [Watermark: MADE AT CROXLEY] Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
