We are very pleased to receive your calculations which seem quite satisfactory. Certainly the total flux and the flux density in the teeth is as high as I should have recommended, as it demands such a large percentage of the ampere turns. Does Mr. Brock and the winder agree that sections of wire on the armature and on the fields are practical ? We hope to send you this week a large amount of the practical mechanical construction of this motor. I think 7 1/2 turns of field wire had better be also tried. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
