1245 W/P - Sr. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}1/JH.18.11.38. Chateauroux Garage. Thank you for your memo. Sr/Dn.22/15.11.38. We are anxious to run another 15,000 miles test early next year and would therefore like you to take immediate action to ensure that premises will be available. We wonder whether Bijontat, if faced with the likelihood of loosing our business altogether, could use his influence to get the new landlord to extend our lease, at any rate to cover the next trip. This would give us a better opportunity to find, prepare and move into new premises. Failing this we should like you to make enquiries for another place in Chateauroux, but we are ready to consider going elsewhere if necessary. There is the alternative of obtaining a site and erecting the necessary building but we regard this as a last resort. If you think it would help we suggest you send Behnan down to Chateauroux to find out the position. We will in any case send someone out to see to transferring our belongings when arrangements have been made and the writer will come over to Paris to discuss the situation as and when you think fit.
