| Secret. Copy. Hn {F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} 18/AH.2.11.37. By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} at W. W R A I T H . Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has instructed us to arrange for bodies to be prepared for the six Wraith chassis now to be built. For the first two chassis, which we understand are to be ready for the bodies at the end of the year, or the beginning of January, we have arranged with Park Ward & Co. as follows:- (1) To take an Enclosed Limousine body originally laid down for Experimental Chassis No.29-G-VI. on which work was suspended some time ago. (2) For a new Touring Limousine to be built as shown in the work's drawing LeC.5182. Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} intends to use this and to make it suitable for his use a few special features will be incorporated in the body. The design of the bodies for the remaining four chassis have yet to be settled. As a safeguard against difficulties arising in the mounting of the bodies, will you very kindly confirm that Park Ward & Co. will be in order in working to the drawings and jigs supplied and made by them in connection with the construction of the bodies for the Experimental Chassis. It will be appreciated that to have the bodies ready for despatch to the works by the end of the year means that Park Ward have no time to lose. Consequently we should be glad to have the confirmation asked for as early as possible please. Hn. {F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} | ||
