7 x 20 Dunlop Silent Tyres. At 40 lbs. - Steering very light at high speeds, not so positive as ¼" off-set wheels. Good for joggles. At 35 lbs - Steering not quite so light but joggles slightly worse. At 30 lbs. - With the exception of the steering becoming on the heavy side and joggles much worse, the riding of the front of the car remains very much the same. The best combination of wheels and tyres (¼" off-set wheels and Dunlops Silent tyres at 35 lbs). Front Wings off and Dumbell on with 2- 100 lbs. weights. Sandard Dunlop Silent Tyres at 45 lbs/sq.in. At 45 lbs. - Very bad for joggles, almost at wobble at high speed in places. At 40 lbs - Best Combination. Very good for joggles and balance, steady and positive. At 35 lbs - Increased bucking of front of car, slightly worse for joggles than at 40 lbs. but not so bad as at 45 lbs. The best steering with the dumbell is at 40 lbs. tyre pressure. __________ Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Dodd. | ||
