To EPR. from Ry. AMH. Mac.{Mr Macintosh} Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} [Struck through] Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and EJJ. x1066 RE RADIATORS. Owing to the recent complaints regarding Radiators becoming choked and restricting the water circulation, it has been decided that no further Radiators should be fitted to Chassis or despatched from the Works until they have been tested for hydraulic resistance. EJJ. has been instructed to immediately produce the necessary testing tackle to carry out this operation. The tackle will consist of an overhead tank which will be coupled up to the radiator filler, and a maximum time limit will be put upon each type of radiator in which the tank shall be emptied. The time limit will be fixed by the Exptl Dept.. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
