The car was stopped for at least 10 minutes, and when the engine was called upon to start up again, it did so immediately, without any sign of vapour lock whatsoever.

The Oil consumption seems almost incredible; and the Petrol consumption did not appear to be excessive.

One can imagine what this car will be like when it is finally put on the road as a customer's car in many months time, and still more the possibilities to be derived from this power unit in a streamlined Bentley.

I should think that the standard Bentley would have its work well cut out to hang on to Bertha's tail if the latter were given her proper chances by the person at the wheel.

I am now working at Vanvooren's with Paulin in order to ensure that the streamlined editions will have all the modifications carried out on them, and necessitated by the experience we gained during these tests, when a big mileage was put up in a very short time.
