ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.7.C. Order No. WC94 Customer's No. X8793 Lucas ERG magneto No 54 B. with f.s.d. This magneto is one of the pair recently modernised and returned to us for test. It was first handed to the Test dept for noise test and they returned it to us after running it a small mileage with the report that a bad knock had developed. We dismantled the machine but could find no evidence of fouling so it was reassembled and tested on the bench for an analysis of the knock. noise.
