V7120. S/W.......Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Copy to Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}...Paris Whr{Mr Wheeler}8/D20.12.32 Re: 19-EX. Car Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}10/MJ.19.12.32. I have spoken to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} about this and he asks me to make clear that the above car was sent back to Works to have any experimental features (other than the silent second gear) removed before the car goes to Paris for sales demonstration work. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} emphasises the importance of not mixing up the sales demonstration work with the experimental work. He thinks, therefore, the car should go to Paris and finish its Sales Dept. demonstration work before it reverts to experimental work. Paris could, of course, advise you a few days in advance when they were likely to finish their demonstration work, and then you could arrange to send over your man to take over the car and also to send over with such man any "bits and pieces" in connection with experimental work. As requested, we will take out the necessary R.A.C. papers. The point is that when 19-EX. goes to Paris, it should be as near "O" Series Chassis as possible. Whr{Mr Wheeler} | ||
