[STAMP: RECEIVED 31 MAR 1931 R-R LTD]

Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed favour of March 28th on the subject of Flexible Couplings and would advise you that there is absolutely no difference between the discs bearing the number 104 and others which you have had. This number 104 simply relates to the month in which these discs were made. This is for the benefit of our Servicing Department and is a check on the many false statements which we have received from other customers in the past.

We have before now had a complaint re failure in three months and on investigation it has proved that the disc has been out of our Works over four years.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times,

We are,
Yours faithfully,

For & on behalf of HARDY SPICER & Co. Ltd.
Edward Hardy
