SPECIFICATION FOR ENGINE UNIT FOR 6-B-IV - B-19.

Crankcase & Bearings.
Complete to LOP. EB.2737. Top half crankcase EB.2626. Lower half crankcase in magnesium. Bearings to be in Hall's metal (solid). Latest type vented oil filler to be fitted.

Crankshaft.
Complete to standard production L.O.P. except that two oil hole scheme (similar to LeC.3324) for main bearings is to be fitted.

Connecting Rods.
Complete to standard L.O.P. (drilled up type) with large S/ZNCR bolts and nuts - EB.2222 & EB.2220. Solid Hall's metal big end bearings, oil grooves for big end bearings in connecting rods.

Spring Drive.
Complete to standard L.O.P. EB.129 except that 45° angle metal gears should be used.

Pistons.
Aerolite - to be supplied by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Mths.{Reg Matthews} No. P.301. Casting No. C.227.

Cylinders.
Complete to L.O.P. EB.2715.
Cylinder block - EB.2561.
Cylinder head - EB.2560, but with 6.7 : 1 C/R.{Sir Henry Royce}
