Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. E.W.Hives.
Experimental Engineer.

We had the pleasure of writing to your good selves on the 19th May, 17th June, 11th July and 14th July, all of which communications have been on the subject of lubricating oils for your cars and aeroplanes respectively, and we trust that since the 19th May you have been able to give this question of VEEDOL your kind consideration.

We have had quite a lot of success both in motor car engine lubrication and also aeroplane engine lubrication and we are sure that we can offer you lubricating oils of a high class character.

We think you are well aware that the Tide Water Refinery at Bayonne, New Jersey is one of the largest in the world and is sufficiently big to interest your good selves. As a matter of fact our aim is to produce nothing but the highest class lubricants and for that reason we are writing you trusting that you will be interested to the extent of advising us as to whether the quantity of oil sent you on July 11th stood up to the tests which you require.
