To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x4694 346 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} 7/KW, 10.11.34. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Rear Suspensions. We want to carry out some tests isolating the rear axle from the car with rubber. The attached schemes show one way by which this can be done. The road springs will need rubber at both ends. In order to prevent a number of experimental schemes and a lot of time being spent testing, we should like designs which give a large range of flexibility and can be easily adjusted on the road.
