HARRISON RADIATOR CORPORATION LOCKPORT, NEW YORK Mr. C. S. Steadman, Page 3. 12/4/36. eliminated this as being too dangerous in the event of an accident. Under paragraph 3 regarding aircraft radiator cores, appreciate very much indeed, your sending on to us the preliminary information and copies of test results which you have run to date, however, we have never felt that the aviation production was of such magnitude to warrant our becoming interested. Last year the greatest number of machines was built for some years past and did not exceed 6,500, the majority of these of course, being air cooled. There are some large liquid cooled engines under development but as previously stated heretofore, we have always felt that the small amount of business did not justify our spending sufficient money to do the type of job we care to do, therefore, we have passed it up. Regret that due to pressure of other work at this time, it is not possible for us to run any specific tests for your Company, however, in the event this pressure is alleviated in the future, will be pleased to get in touch with you again regarding this project. Have enjoyed very much indeed, the privilege of working with the problems you have, which is greatly appreciated and trust that if you are in this country at any time, an opportunity will present itself for you to visit our Plant, and that in the interim you will feel free to call upon us if we can be of assistance to you. Sincerely yours, L. P. Saunders. LPS:LJH HEAT TRANSFER PRODUCTS AVIATION AUTOMOTIVE MARINE INDUSTRIAL RADIATORS SHUTTERS OIL TEMPERATURE REGULATORS CAR HEATERS THERMOSTATS HEAT EXCHANGERS | ||
