X8280 To CJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} SECRET. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG19.12.24. X8770 With reference to CJ1/E18.12.24. The EAC. car in its present state is equal to the 40/50 HP. for starting and behaviour in really cold weather. We are not entirely satisfied with it. There is room for improvement. This point is being worked on in the Experimental Dept. so that at some future date improvements might be made. All the tests on the EAC. cars at the Works are made with low grade petrol in order to reproduce extreme conditions. | ||
