CHASSIS S/C. UNIT.

Running time for three weeks, ending 24th July 1937...15 1/2 hrs.
Fitting time for three weeks, ending 24th July 1937...34 hrs.

WORK TO BE DONE. TIME.

Run check back pressure tests on standard Bentley. 1 day.

SHOP Remove Bentley unit, and fit high power unit with I/C. block (1.600" exhaust valve) and inclined valve head.

Repeat back pressure tests. Try effect of valve timing on power output silenced and open exhaust, and then take back pressures with both timings. 7 days.

SPARES

Valves RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}340 and SCT.55 have been completed and are to hand. Other valve gear details are still outstanding.
