We have completed our 10,000 Miles this morning.

Examination of steering column has disclosed the bottom lugs of steering column's flange cracked half way through.
We shall proceed to Paris, but on rough roads we shall drive steady.
We shall, after completing our investigations on the "Phantom steering, proceed to Derby.
We do not think it will be necessary to send over a new column axles, but will decide this after arriving in Paris.

We have not found any other serious complications.

We shall send our general report as soon as possible.

We received your telegram this afternoon;

"ANTICIPATE TWO OR THREE WEEKS BEFORE ANOTHER CAR READY FOR CHATEAUROUX. HIVES.

We are very much obliged for this.

G.W.Hancock.
