Magnetos have been sent into Despatch Stores from Experimental Dept. No. 114788 is reported to be in a 100% condition, and this machine should be handed to the works in the ordinary way for test for use on Production. With regard to the other three machines, we are issuing a separate despatch note instructing these to be returned to Norths to be overhauled and made thoroughly satisfactory before issuing them for production. EFC. requests that Experimental O/No. 54733 be credited with the value of these machines. As soon as we hear from Norths regarding the cost of putting the three machines which are being returned in thorough good order, we will notify G/Rb.{R.
