Martindale}12/JH.2.3.37. 35-EX Phantom III Servo Judders. We note that you have used a thinner washer in between the servo star springs to prevent judders. Now that you have removed the slack from the rear brake rope we suggest that you could, for a test, run without star springs at all, and that you will get no judders until slack develops again. If slack repeatedly develops, a spring fixed on the countershaft to hold this in the "off" position will have the same effect, as keeping the brake taught. We would like you to make this simple test so that misleading information shall not get into the 10,000 miles report. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
