X.1581 To Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from EFC. EFC5/T30.10.22. X,1581 - TRANSFORMER FOR TESTING INSULATING MATERIALS We find on measuring the secondary resistance of this transformer that there appears to be a break between terminals TO and Tl. We would like you to write to the makers (Messrs Mitchell) and ask if this is in order, and also to inform us of the available voltages on the terminals generally, of which there are several from TD to T#6. You will remember that the transformer as ordered was only going to have tappings for 0, 5000, 10,000, 15000, and 20,000 volts, i.e. 5 terminals, so that some explanation is necessary. EFC. | ||
