X.1725 X.9940 X.1559 We have thought it necessary to criticise the acceleration and braking curves which it is now the practice of 'The Autocar' and 'The Motor' (especially 'The Motor') of publishing. It may happen that these Journals might wish to carry out similar tests on R-R cars. If they do so, a correct performance of any R-R car would look poor compared with some of the curves published. We therefore thought it necessary to point this out so that we can be prepared if this happens.
