contd :- -3- REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS. These were fitted when the rear of the car had already done 57 hrs. 45 mins. on the drums. Conditions : Tyres at 60 lbs/sq.in. Spare wheel carrier with 2 wheels. Total ballast of 580 lbs. 8 restriction washers. After 45 mins. Piston F.79723 in N.S.R. damper broke. * 22 hrs. 15 mins. N.S.R. damper bracket near buffer broke. Piston F.79723 found broken and replaced. * 38 hrs. 30 mins. outside lever F.79757 of O.S.R. damper broke.
