Re your memos about Engine Mounting.

We are entirely in agreement with you that some form of rubber side location is required at the back of the gearbox, the Design Dept.are at the moment trying to scheme one.

On 26.G. you have not got a fully isolated change speed mechanism, but a semi-isolated one, boxed up, so that in England rattles from it were not audible.

There is being made at the moment a set of fully isolated parts with a spring location, so that we do not think any rattles will occur. You need not, therefore worry much about this particular item.

In view of our having to release Wraith material, mileage becomes more and more important.
