EXTRACT FROM LETTER FROM J.A.Fraser Henderson. 2.6.35

"I would also draw attention to the absurdly poor petrol consumption - worse than I used to get on a 40/50 h.p. 12 or 14 years ago. So far I've not been able to count on more than 11 - 12 m.p.g., but this may, of course, be better now that you are supposed to have fitted a modification to the carburettor. What is this modification; in what way does the carburettor now differ from that described in my chassis instruction book and what (if any) increased consumption do you claim."
