To Ba. from EPC. c. to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Thr. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EFC5/T6.8.20. X.3760 R.R. SWITCHBOX. Xe In using the R.R. switchbox in the proposed wiring scheme incorporating Smith dynamo, Smith cut-out and R.R. junction board, certain interconnections in the switchbox are necessary, these being indicated by the small diagram attached. These interconnections consist of connecting together five points, as shown on the diagram. It would appear that some special piece or pieces are necessary to effect this interconnection. Would you kindly look into this ? The system as at present arranged makes no allowence for an inspection lamp plug socket. I believe you have considered this point, but I would like to say that if it is suggested incorporating this on the switchbox, or even on the instrument board at the side of the switchbox, a sventh wire will be necessary coming from one of the positive terminals of the junction board, which plug with another connection from the five interconnected points will constitute the two poles of the plug socket.
