To BJ. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} c. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RE. NO. 3. GOSHAWK. (LIMOUSINE.) X4219 X4240 Regarding my suggested change of the height of the radiator, owing to the improved appearance which we anticipated (and is confirmed) and the convenience of the fan and cowling, we shall be pleased if you will agree to this slight modification in width and height of the radiator, as we believe that this will justify the trouble of making the change which it is likely to entail. BJ. and C. will remember that I have asked for the limousine to be sent here after it has been examined and tested in London, whether they approve or disapprove of the changed and improved position of the pedals, and shape of the radiator. We need not keep it many hours but it will enable us to see whether the instructions we have given have done what we anticipated, and also whether any further improvements are possible. R.{Sir Henry Royce} NOTE. The limousine has since arrived and has been returned. | ||
