To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}+ c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7470 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M31.5.26. EAC-7 PEDALS. X.7470 X.7380 Herewith we send N.schs. 2197/8/9., shewing the pedals for the above car. The arrangement is approximately the same as EAC.8. and we have largely used the same parts. We could not get quite as much travel on the clutch as we know you like, and have now got on the Phantom, but R.{Sir Henry Royce} instructs that if the travel given is not enough we shall re-arrange the clutch to suit, and if necessary slightly put up the foot load. The first car will have a subframe and we shall be glad if Derby will set out the floorboards suitable for this. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
