EXPERIMENTAL APPARATUS (TEST BED SECTION)

With reference to memo. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/R.21.8.38.

The following is a list of the test tackle which could be used for the purpose of compiling photographs for publicity.

(1) Lucas Ignition voltage recorder.
(2) Cambridge exhaust gas tester.
(3) Thermocouples from spark plugs to Galvo.
(4) Stroboscope.
(5) Rotoscope.
(6) Flowmeters.
(7) Manometers ('U' tubes).
(8) Rev counters.

It is suggested that if these instruments are to be arranged in suitable composition for photographs, a screen should be used, to form "sets" and to control "backgrounds". Further the actual arrangement of these "sets" should be controlled by the sort of descriptive data required.
