Dear Dick,

I have now got the value of the two samples of fuel which you gave me. The octane numbers are as follows -

Fuel No. 1 70.5 Octane
Fuel No. 2 70.0 Octane

From the blue print that I sent you, you will observe that this is about the figure given by the Ethyl Export Corporation for No. 1 petrols.
