OVERDRIVE BOX - UNDERSHIELD. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/TVT.{T. V. Turner}1/MC.31.5.38. I looked into this matter, which you referred back to me, and find that it was the result of a complete oversight by all the Departments concerned until it reached the Works, the facts of the case are that supposedly complete details of the box were handed to the D.O. by the Experimental Department, and these I insisted on having traced and no unnecessary time spent on them, with the result that the D.O. missed the fact that more space was required in the undershield.
