H.E.West, Esq.,
Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.
Dear Mr.West,
Confirming our telephone conversation of this morning in regard to your letter of the 17th instant, I am sending you herewith as requested, a supply of glass springs for the L.130 headlamps which you are fitting to Mr.E.R.Hall's Racing Bentley for the Ulster T.T.
I would also confirm that we do not regard this Lamp as being strong enough for the purpose in question, particularly if you are adding to the weight by fitting shields, and I am accordingly sending by post to-night, addressed for your personal attention, a sample of a Lamp which we have produced for M.G. for this particular race and which I consider would be more suitable. If you can arrange to fit this Lamp I will try and let you have the complete pair by the end of the week.
Yours sincerely,
