Messrs. Rapson,
Burlington Rd.,
New Malden,
Surrey.

Dear Sirs,

The 40/50 HP. RR. cars running in France fitted with your Tyres are running under rather exceptional conditions.

An identical car doing the same work as the one which is running with the Rapson tyres, has been run fitted with 33 X 5 Dunlop Tyres.

One rear Dunlop tyre wore out to the canvas and burst after 2,670 miles - the other rear tyre has run for 3,700 miles. Although the average speed throughout the whole mileage was 36 m.p.h., some of the daily runs were 4/500 miles and the average speed was just over 40 m.p.h.

We should be pleased if you could let us have some more tyres because the tests we are doing present an excellent opportunity of getting comparative tests on tyres as we have two cars identical as regards - weight, H.P., speed etc.

Yours faithfully,
