W/S Sp.{Mr Spinney} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to C. X3730 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG13.1.22. HOOPER LIMOUSINE BODY FOR GOSHAWK 11. X3730 X4240 The Goshawk chassis which is to have the Hooper body fitted to it will leave Derby Monday morning. It should arrive at Hoopers works' Chelsea about midday. We have instructed the Driver to ring you up at Conduit Street unless you leave any message with Hoopers. We have done our best as regards disguising the chassis. We have not been able to get on a camouflage radiator because it will be another two or three weeks before they are completed. We have therefore instructed the driver with the car to stay with it whilst the body is being fitted and to see that the car is kept out of the way. HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} and myself propose coming down to Hoopers on Thursday next 19th. inst. We will then bring down the other radiators which it is suggested to try on the chassis. We hope that by next Thursday the body will be mounted and that we shall have an opportunity of seeing it nearly completed. We should like you to impress upon Hoopers that we want them to get through their work as soon as possible and a week is the longest time we can let them have the chassis.
