To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 27-EX. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} x7120. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E14.3.32 Referring to the above car and our conversation the other day I understand that you will now proceed with the work of removing the epicyclic gearbox and refitting its standard gearbox but you will leave the higher compression head and the high lift camshaft, You might please let me know by about what date you expect to be able/to let us have the car. The question of what use we make of the car will largely depend on the result of our discussion on Wednesday re possibility of introducing on Continental chassis the two features referred to above.
