Dear Sir,

Enclosed is a copy of my M.R. thesis for your inspection, as promised at my interview with you last week.

I wish to assure you again how keen I am on obtaining a position in your department. The study of automobile design and progress has been my main interest all through my University and works career, and as a result of this I am fully acquainted with the mechanical designs of most present-day cars, and with the working principles of the various recent developments in transmission. As I mentioned in my first letter to your firm, I was intimately connected with the technical and sporting aspects
