Hanbury - Head Complaints} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hdy.{William Hardy} HHC. Ds.2/HP.29.8.34. Bentley - Flexible Engine Mounting. Pedals. Herewith is N. Sch.4156 showing a proposal for providing a connection between the clutch pedal and the clutch operating lever which will not be affected by the rotational movements of the engine. The operating link between the pedals and the engine is parallel to the transmission centre line. The cantilever pedals are similar to the Phantom, and Phantom pieces are used. The spring loaded - ball - ended link tying the engine to the pedals is the same as already provided for the 25-HP. We are sending immediately the rubber front end engine mounting. We understand this is all urgently required for the next 10,000 mile Bentley. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
