CARBURETTER THROTTLE HEATING
ON PHANTOM ENGINES.

Referring to your report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG8.7.26., page 6.,

Mr. Royce is now of the opinion that the alternative scheme
suggested in R1/M5.7.26., namely, the jacket heating system
sealed to a pressure of about 100 lbs. for the square inch,
need not be tested. The disadvantage of this system is the
danger of freezing in winter, and the additional trouble it
would entail as regards draining.
