To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. X8080 E23/M10.7.26. CARBURETTER THROTTLE HEATING ON PHANTOM ENGINES. X. 8080 X. 8230 Referring to your report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG8.7.26., page 6., Mr. Royce is now of the opinion that the alternative scheme suggested in R1/M5.7.26., namely, the jacket heating system sealed to a pressure of about 100 lbs. for the square inch, need not be tested. The disadvantage of this system is the danger of freezing in winter, and the additional trouble it would entail as regards draining. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
