X3860 S-O 3/8/ Order Office. c. BY/SS.{S. Smith} c. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. RWC. BY5/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 8.3.25. HIGH TENSION WIRING. As the result of the tests we have made on the Maconites cable submitted to us by the Macintosh Cable Co. the experimental Dept. are now anxious to try out engines fitted up with High tension cables made from the above material. Will you therefore kindly order up enough of the above maconite cable to fit up half a dozen chassis. From the tests the cable has been put to, it appears to show better resistance to petrol, engine oil and acids, than our standard cable, whilst in addition, it has increased resistance to breakdown as the result of being submitted to high potential differences.
