F.J.H. x328 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from HDY.{William Hardy} SECRET. HDY.{William Hardy}2/HP.31.5.35. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} SpectreCodename for Phantom III Gearbox - Next 8 Chassis. Would you kindly note that the Experimental Department regard the disc type friction damper for the servo balance arm as necessary for these chassis, and that some pattern alterations are involved, as shewn by our N. Sch.4428 and 4475. With regard to the bracket for the change gear lever to suit the horizontal hand brake lever, this should be as on the existing SpectreCodename for Phantom III cars except for the modifications which can be seen to be necessary to give what is shown on N. Sch.4390. HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
