To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}1/KW.5.7.35. Fabric Liners on Servo Balance Arm. 20-G-IV has now completed 8580 miles with cotton duck liners fitted to the servo swinging arm (N.Sch.4314). It was necessary during the first 2,000 miles to re-set the friction loading on two occasions, but since then it has maintained its original loading of 18 lbs. Examination of the fabrics shows them to be in good condition. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/W.Brazier. | ||
