To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. c. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X7791 EFC5/T18.1.28. WATFORD EW6 MAGNETOS. Further to our EFC1/T18.1.28 of this morning, we regret we overlooked the fact which should have been stated that magneto No.99171 was sent to us by Mr. North as a magneto suitable for electrical performance only, and that therefore we should not regard the failure of this to operate correctly mechanically as a point in the general disfavour of the machines. Also the number was given in error as 77191. EFC. | ||
