The following is an extract from a letter received from Mr. Frise :- "Whilst they are doing the firing, I should like them to kill two birds with one stone and test the possibilities of firing through a blast tube, such as we shall have to have in the "Beaufighter" installation. You could borrow one from the machines at Hucknall if you like, but I should imagine you will want something slightly bigger in diameter.
